Meta Platforms are augmenting the three-dimensional ad feature for the brands by making it easier to run. The platforms under the parent company, Facebook and Instagram, will run the three-dimensional ads through a new partnership with an eCommerce tech firm.

Meta has combined its efforts with VNTANA. This partnership has allowed the brand to upload 3D models of the products to Facebook and Instagram. These models can be turned into ads. The same was confirmed from a press release by the company.

Metaverse ads the revolution for advertising

Metaverse is transforming the advertising industry. Ashley Crowder, the VNTANA Chief Executive said, “The move is a stepping stone into advertising in the metaverse, referring to the futuristic idea of a collection of virtual worlds that can be accessed through devices such as headsets.

Meta platform has staked its future on contributing to building the metaverse, which will take almost a decade to become the new norm. The company had previously partnered with AR companies Modiface and PerfectCorp, where they worked on helping the cosmetic brands run 3D and Ar advertising seamlessly.

Crowder adds, “The metaverse is basically the spatial internet. It is a whole world of possibility that starts with having the right 3D models of your products.”

How 3D ad works?

The users of Facebook and Instagram when spotting a 3D ad while browsing the desktop or phone can interact directly with the image of the product. For instance, the user can move it around to view from all angles.

This new form of advertising gives a glimpse of future devices like AR glasses and Meta ad systems. Before VNTANA integrated with Meta, the advertisers needed to reform 3D files to be compatible with the Meta ad system. Today, VNTANA has made the process of uploading and converting files into ads has become seamless. Even if the users are not familiar with the skills and operations, they can operate it easily.
