Born in Calcutta, India, Jeenu came to Canada when she was 6 months old. She was highly inspired by her father and has followed in his footsteps. Jeenu’s father has also been an academic genius who came to Canada in 1967 on an academic scholarship and complete his two consecutive masters programmes in 1969 and 1971. She further asserts, “I had an interest in Physics and English both, so I pursued this in Edmonton at the University of Alberta in their Bachelors of Science program.” She is proudly a fourth-generation engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Space and Satellite Control from Ryerson University in Toronto.
Prior to her entrepreneurial venture, Jeenu was working in the consulting engineering industry. Leveraging her experience of more than two decades, she founded Stamped Engineering in 2017.

She felt that there was a need in the industry for technical work produced by qualified professional engineers to be affordable and accessible, and at the same time be lean, and customizable. Since its inception, the company encourages thinking outside of the box and pushing the envelope.

Being an entrepreneur and founder of a multidisciplinary engineering business is filled with new and exciting challenges. One such challenge which Jeenu experienced was when she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. This unforeseen incident happened just after the location for Stamped Engineering was purchased. Sharing her experience, she says, “With my two children Amber (age 4) and Aveer (age 2), I took on the executive decision to continue full steam ahead.” It is quite natural that during such circumstances people tend to lose hope. However, this was not the case with Jeenu, she completed her treatments for chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. She promised her family that she would do everything she could to get Stamped Engineering Corporation launched.
Jeenu’s determination towards her vision was unmatchable. In order to complete her promise, she committed herself to work—7 days of the week! Not only did she managed to keep up with good health, but also was able to have Stamped Engineering represent the trust, technical expertise to the clients. “Our dedication to our clients has caused our business to grow far beyond my wildest dreams,” she exclaimed.
As they say, hard work pays off— and since the launch of Stamped Engineering, Jeenu has garnered the attention of the global community. She was published in OGM Magazine in 2017, recognized by The Worldwide Association of Female Professionals in 2018 and 2019, and was featured as the Asian Star in the Asian Tribune in July 2019, featured in the EPC lens in December of 2019, The TOP 100 Canadian Professionals Magazine in 2020, 50 Best Companies of the Year in 2020, featured by Edmonton Global in 2020.
Even after such a huge list of awards and recognition, she keeps her feet on the ground and heads high with her mission of providing the technical expertise to execute the client’s project without compromising safety, ethical or regulatory standards.
