Allergy A.R.T.S is the reflection of Dr. Constantine Saadeh’ s desire to provide the most comprehensive and well-studied approaches to treatment. Dr. Saadeh, had a successful career in academics when he noticed the rising challenges in effective patient care. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine with fellowships and additional board certifications in allergy/immunology and rheumatology. His broad range of interests grants him unique expertise in different treatment approaches for different age groups. Their academic background drove him to reinvest practice revenues into advanced diagnostic equipment and build a team of trained experts who operate it.
Established in 2000, Allergy A.R.T.S. has grown from a single Physician clinic to a leading healthcare provider in the industry. Currently, it staffs 85 members among which 8 are providers. Allergy A.R.T.S. also houses a fully functioning laboratory, an imaging department consisting of ultrasound, bone density, and x-ray services, a pulmonary laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment, a nine-chair infusion center, and a research center currently running almost 20 trials!
Allergy A.R.T.S. strongly focuses on the diagnostic side of medicine. The healthcare provider has specialized care in the areas of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. The team at Allergy A.R.T.S. spans the gap of different medical areas to arrive at a specified diagnosis. “Our patients often come with lifestyle limiting symptoms, so quick action and determination of a plan of care is necessary,” explains Sam Perry, the CEO of Allergy A.R.T.S.
Allergy A.R.T.S. offers robust, on-site testing for laboratory and imaging needs along with state-of-art pulmonary machinery that is unique to the area. Furthermore, to keep the patient care local, affordable, accessible, and under the supervision of an expert medical provider, Allergy A.R.T.S. offers in-house infusion services. Its sister company, Amarillo Center for Clinical Research is located within the vicinity of Allergy A.R.T.S. This enables the patients to have access to groundbreaking drugs. It also incorporates the provider’s desire to push the boundaries of their profession and work alongside like-minded professionals from across the country to conduct and write on research.
Allergy A.R.T.S. comprises a team of specialists that have advanced training and experience to properly diagnose the patient’s condition and prescribe them an effective treatment plan. Dr. Saadeh is active in many professional organizations and has become a well-known expert in his fields both nationally and internationally. He and his medical staff share a true passion and desire to fulfill the Hippocratic oaths. The team is striving to go above and beyond patient care—physically, financially, emotionally, and sometimes even spiritually!
A recent example of their exemplary patient care has been the unfortunate event of a pandemic. Allergy A.R.T.S. has a large subsection of patients who are highly immunocompromised. With the advent of COVID-19, the team prioritized patient safety and revamped the approach toward care. Through sheer hard work, the team was able to tackle the challenges and deliver uninterrupted qualitative care to the patients.
Sam Perry articulates, “During my time as a healthcare leader I have seen company goals shrink from 10-15 years to 6 or 12 months.” He believes that the long-term capital campaigns take a few years to blossom but healthcare will always remain a service industry at heart and continue to organically change frequently. To stay aligned with this trend, healthcare leaders need to outline a plan for flexibility in their vision and surround themselves with elastic open-minded management teams. A team that is always looking out for breakthroughs in labor issues just as much as hitting volume benchmarks and financial KPIs to find that ever-elusive balance between financial success and optimal patient care.
Allergy A.R.T.S. is among the few leading healthcare providers in the town. The popularity of the healthcare provider has been mostly due to the positive client feedback. Direct-to-consumer marketing, local philanthropy and community organization support, and good old fashion hard work have put the clinic in the hearts and minds of many patients in the greater Texas Panhandle. However, the team has not become complacent and is continuing to work and evolve the marketing and social media presence to best serve the patients. Allergy A.R.T.S. aims to be distinguished among the other players for its knowledgeable resources for medical education in varied fields and to continue to work towards becoming a market leader.
