Virtual Band of Kingship
The virtual band is not a new concept. It has already been attempted by Gorillaz, a virtual band formed in 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and comic artist Jamie Hewlett. The band released seven albums on Warner Music Group- Parlophone label. Moreover, Japan’s pop star, Hatsune Miku, is a hologram.
For Kingship to stand out amongst the current competition, Universal Music Group sought out one of the best-know NFT collections on the blockchain, the Bored Ape Yacht Club– which is comprised of 10,000 anthropomorphic apes which are distinctive in clothing, expressions, and fur.
